When is Google PageRank Update?
Are you one of those who are waiting and waiting…and waiting for the next Google PageRank update?
Are you concerned that your site has gone down because of the paid links?
or…Are you excited to find out the result of your website optimization?
The official and confirmed latest Google PageRank update was on April 2 of this years. There has been an update of PageRank, sometime in June 3 and June 29 but those were a minor update only.
Historically, Google updates or published its PageRank four (4) times a year usually with an interval of 3-4 months. If you have noticed, there’s no PR update for the last four months already. I’m not a prophet but I’m predicting that Google PR is on it’s way …soon.
While waiting, I’m suggesting to all bloggers and website owners not to focus much on Google PR. Don’t be obsess with it. Try to get as much as quality back links and keep on building the right high ranking keywords instead. What matters most is your SERP and not PR.

Yes I notice that too. After April people predicted the next update would be around August but it’s already September now. Maybe Mr G is trying to be not so predictable
Nice tool, just tried it out. Competition is tough out there, so need to keep going no matter the PR.

I agree with napkin rings, its easy for those who already have their PR. But with the starters, this is what they are waiting for.

Thanks for sharing. You have a good point there that about the importance of SERP than PR but I think in some cases PR can give you good benefit in terms of monetization of your site through various strategies like selling of links.

Last update my page rank dropped in half
it’s now october and I don’t think it has updated since the june update still!
PageRank have been very useful for me. PageRank is a very important device in determining the importance of a certain page and I have faith with Google that they will update this the soonest.
hi again, i have problem with my PR everytime i am checking it, it’s always show NA (not available) I just hope there’s somebody who can help me regarding this thing. And regarding the backlink you are saying i’m not really familiar with. I have to learn more in this blogging world

I hope there will be an increase with my pagerank in my sites.
I haven’t made any post in my site last April, so it’s natural that my page rank is 0. But I hope that it’s up a bit in the next update now that it has content.
Also, the fact that pagerank actually changes everyday, and Google updates it occasionally, I guess adding content and doing stuff that will increase pagerank is a much more productive task than waiting for the enxt update.
And yeah, showing off a high page rank is an edge although it’s like a fool’s gold.

After we had a change from PR 0 to 2 on our project tus-hasede.blogspot.com on October 23rd there has nothing happened with our other websites. I guess that the pagerank will not be discontinued but maybe there will be just updates of single websites in the future and no “big update”.
My guess for the next update is for the 31st December 2010. Google saw the new year in 2009 in that way too. Smaller adjustments happen from time to time anyway but the big update happens once in a while.
Life would be so much simpler if Google would just come out and say something about these updates. But they never will of course. I’m sitting here wondering how long this will go on. Each imagined due date comes and goes and then someone makes up a new imagined due date. I guess when nothing happens on December 31, people will start saying “oh, Valentine’s Day, for sure this time!” Or a tiny, tiny fraction of sites will get anything and it will be called a minor “update”.

Then we finally got a pagerank update from Google.
It’s looking quite good for our site http://www.donnabello.dk . We went from pagerank 1 to 2.
