I just had time to read this post now. Interesting, Eric. I have yet to learn from you in SEO. Keep this type of post coming.:-)

SEO and MFA sites still work until now (I guess). It is a matter of learning when to rake earnings and when to turn it off.

Just like in stocks trading, you should know your limits when to stop and when to sell.

Greed sometimes is the culprit of getting banned in Adsense. Aruuuu!

Well like I said, you’re banned for life. Your account will get closed and all your earnings will be gone. Your name and website will be blacklisted in the AdSense program. You can still probably try applying under another person’s name but it will have to be for a completely new website. But this sucks so it’s best to avoid from ever having this experience by being a responsible publisher.

“publishers participating in the AdSense program may not:Encourage users to click the Google ads using phrases such as “click the ads”, “support us”, “visit these links” or other similar language.”

I remember there was a time when this rule wasn’t enforced. Many sites in fact use the “Support us” phrase before and I think I might have been guilty of that on one occasion too.

“publishers participating in the AdSense program may not: Format ads so that they become indistinguishable from other content on that page.”

Same with this one. It was all to easy to blend your ads before with your content.

But the hard lesson is that if you are caught violating, you’re banned for life! So be a good publisher and keep in mind all the rules!

Too many people are attempting to game the AdSense system, the odd thing is Google is supposed to be able to detect and prevent more than 3 AdSense ads on a single page, so clearly they are using multiple ID’s and publishers or some other away around it.
