Mad and Furious, I Need Your Recommendation.
I was mad and furious with my webhost provider.I’m sure most of my regular readers were aware on what happened on my site.
First, all my blogs and websites (not blog) were inaccessible for more than 48 hours. Second, the staff of my webhost provider were not aware what hit their server. I had to emailed them multiple times before I got an answer. And third, this happened not only once but twice this week!
Sadly, I’m not even receiving an update from them on their so called “patches” after their first replied email.
Let me clear this, I will not badmouth my webhost provider because I considered their manager as a friend (online) already. My only problem is their their technical and after sale support.
This week our company is looking for a webhost provider that can provide not only unlimited bandwidth but also a good after sale support. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anymore my current provider because of my experienced with them.
After searching and asking fellow bloggers through forums and emails, a lot of them are recommending HostMonster.com and BlueHost.com which I’ve found out later that they are the same company.
Anyone of you are using Hostmonster and BlueHost? What do yo think of their services? Can you also recommend other webhost provider aside from these two? I don’t mind the cost as long as the provider can give a reliable’uptime’ and an excellent 24×7 online support.

Sino ba ang webhost mo? I’m sure local. I’m thinking na baka pareho tayo kasi intermittent then ang site ko this month.
Hi Ark, thanks for dropping by. The webhost company is based in the Philippines but the servers are all in the USA as indicated by their IP addresses.

I’m not that techie when it comes to these things but from what I gathered (I asked around too) before purchasing my domain and hosting, most local providers are lousy and undependable. That’s why I got the services of GoDaddy. Never had a problem. Plus installation is quite easy, esp for newbies like me.
Yung aken mura lang. $5 unlimited n lahat. For 1 year yun.

I use local server too, but have no problem.
I know from my friend too, who’s using BlueHost and then they said satisfied.
You must be sad when contact them and do not get any response. I hope you not get more problem when try to switch the server to other host.
Oh ya, I have different oppinion with Rico, but maybe this is just because i compare it with my primary host. for me it is hard to use godaddy, they quite well on domain, but not on hosting. just try to give second opinion.

I’m using bluehost for my 2 blogs, so far wala naman problem. GoDaddy ang una ko natry, nakakainis ang customer service kaya inilipat ko agad sa BlueHost.

there is one blog I know which offer $20 get paid to use HostGator but must use under that blog affiliate for this offer. let me know if you want to know which blog it is.
I use DreamHost. I switched after a horrible (horrible!) experience with a cheap local provider. Now, I’m worry free and have had no issues since! No kidding

I use Bluehost – their customer support is quite good. I host all of my sites there.

I use KKHost (http://my.kkhost.net)provider (their servers are in US and Singapore). It has been okay so far!
I use FatCow and they have been pretty good. I’ll keep using them even after I move to the Philippines.
My friend is selling his Dreamhost (2 years) account worth $214 for only $100. Catch, no free domain because he already register it but you could add unlimited domains.
I’m also thinking of moving from Bluehost to Dreamhost, sayang eh. There are 7 slots available as of now.
