Entrecard Is Now Open To Non-Blog Sites
Entrecard recently opened it’s network to virtually everyone. I’m sure most of the Entrecard members are already aware of this changes. According to Entrecard’s announcement, they are opening the system so bloggers can also network with regular website owners too.
I think one of the reason for this is that, by opening the network to regular website, they might also be looking for “other opportunities” to make the site profitable. I can’t see nothing wrong on this. It may even bring positive outcome later on, not only to Entrecard owners but to the whole community as well. This is what Adgitize is doing and I’m not against it. Let’s face the fact, business needs to profit too! Without a profit then there’s no business at all.
One of the advantages of Adgitize over EC is your points (credits) are automatically converted to cash.
Entrecard is an advertising exchange network for bloggers (and non-blog too, now) which holds the promise of boosting traffic by visiting other sites. Blogs or normal sites doesn’t matter because when you really want to gain more traffic in Entrecard network, you are suppose to reciprocate a visit.

Seems I need more time to spend my time in EC, it’s so time-consuming to reciprocate all visits.
Esp when you have more than one site
Thanks for the info, Eric! I signed up for Adgitize under you and will see how things go. So far I have been unable to reject two gun ads, so if I’m not able to by the end of today I’m going to give up! Every time I try the page just times out. Odd.
I still have Entrecard on three of my sites [not my main] but I only drop when I happen on a site that has the logo [like yours]. Most of my Entrecard visitors are drive-bys as they almost never leave a comment or try to interact with me. Yet, I have found a few good sites through them and have found no real reason to take it down, yet.
If I try Adgitize I will keep you in mind.

I gave up on EC. I haven’t tried Adgitize yet, but use CMF ads instead. I’ve been very pleased with them. They’re always trying new things to improve traffic and ways to earn money.
