Entrecard, the free blogging network that launched a virtual economy for bloggers has been acquired by ZipRunner Inc.
According to Graham Langdon, the founder of Entrecard, that he chose ZipRunner among a number of potential suitors because he believed that ZipRunner Inc. has the resources to dedicate to Entrecard.
ZipRunner Inc., a Los Angeles based company have “exciting” vision for Entrecard’s future but they haven’t revealed any concrete plans yet.
What does this mean to Entrecard’s community? I don’t know yet.
Graham is urging all bloggers to a more bigger and better Entrecard. He will now act as an advisor and will help the new team of ZipRunner Inc to take Entrecard the next level.

Since Entrecard has been bought off already, I wonder what will happen Entrecard now. As of this time, I don’t have any idea. Will ZipRunner Inc. change the rules of the game?

I’m curious how this change will affect us. Hopefully ZipRunner will invest the resources necessary to fix Entrecard.
not only fix but have a better vision for EC.
I have been contemplating on removing my entrecard account before…

For quite sometime, there has been a slow movement within the community and the silence has broken: it’s acquired by new owner. The same is true for me, wait and see but at the same time, I try to maximize still anything that the site can offer… and hoping that my techniques still apply. It is still a very good site offering free service: at least this part I hope that would go on.

Let’s hope they don’t change too much. I mean it’s working right now if they decided to take it in a completely new direction I don’t think it’d be beneficial for anyone.
before EC told us about the Ziprunner, they said that they’ll be having a new rule (which I don’t know when they’ll implement) that you can’t just drop and run, or you won’t earn anything. do you think that’s part of ziprunner’s new gameplan?
